FRANK HAMILTON ESTATE FRIDAY NIGHT AUCTION!  In addition to our regular Saturday night auction (at which we anticipate the return of more rare materials from the Munsey pulp archives), we will also be holding a special estate auction on Friday night, with loads of material from the estate of Frank Hamilton. Frank was one of the giants in the pulp fan community, winning one of the first Lamont awards for the terrific art he regularly contributed to pulp fandom, and a longtime collector, especially of hero and Burroughs pulps.

We will be posting auction information here on this page, along with taking advance and absentee bids.  Keep an eye on this page and be sure to bookmark it for future reference!

The collection has been picked up and as we begin to lot the material, there are several things that really stick out.  1) An unpublished Doc Savage by Walter Baumhofer original canvas done specifically for Frank Hamilton. 2) A complete run of THE SHADOW MAGAZINE.  3) All the early issues from 1933 through 1935 DOC SAVAGE. 3) A large number of PETE RICE MAGAZINE. 4) A number of b&w pen and ink drawings by Frank Hamilton available in the auction. 

The number of his originals available is incredibly small.  Frank didn't sell his artwork, but now we are offering a select group of his fine art pieces.  Also Frank painted canvases of some of his favorite covers.  These full color oil pieces will also be available in the auction.  Below are just a small number of examples.
